In 1783, the king bought the estate from the prince and princesse de Guéménée
for his younger sister, Madame Elizabeth, who continued the works in the house
and the garden created by Huvé.
During the XIXth century, the residence was altered by its successive owners,
but it still has landscaped garden.
Protected since 1953, it has been bought by the District Council
(Conseil Général des Yvelines) to be the setting for receptions and exhibitions.
