This house was built in the late XVIIth century for the Castrati musicians
whom the king recruited from Italy in 1676. In 1748, it was sold to Mr de Gourmay.
It has belonged for a while to the comtesse de Marsan who sold it to Le Monnier,
the royal children's doctor.
Today, it is the property of the city of Versailles which has commissioned
the Compagnons du Tour de France to restore it.

Authorization required for visit.
