It
was built under Louis XV to be the king's entertainment
warehouse,
where playing equipment, entertainment and theatre decors
were stored.
In a courtyard opening into Chantiers street, a temporary
wood and canvas hall accommodated the States General deputies
on May 5th, 1789.
The National Assembly deputies left it to go to Paris
on October 12th, 1789.
The hall was pulled down in 1800. Today the building houses
the Baroque Music Center.
